China-America Institute of Neuroscience
China-America Institute of Neuroscience was founded in 2011, which is based on Xuanwu hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. The Institute has been focused on neuroprotection. We have been making translational research in ischemic stroke through nonhuman primate models and rat models.
We have published 30 papers, including 24 SCI papers, most of which is IF >5.0. We have also undertaken 8 projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, 5 project from Beijing government, and 3 from Beijing Institute for Brain Disorders.
The Institute has held 2 international conferences since its establishment. It also sends at least 2 researchers to Massachusetts General Hospital every year. We have established an exchange-training program.
